November 2017
We are all looking forward to a very strong looking RTTL Winter League Division 1. We finished a solid 4th in the Summer league but we have strengthened the squad and are looking for a higher finish with luck this Winter. High ranked Canadian Women's team player Ivy Liao has signed with us this Winter so we hope very much to see Ivy play some matches this season. We have already had a great start to the season winning 10:0 against the promoted Trail Spinnakers, with Peter Yau, Dipak Topiwala and Gordon Ng as our opening line-up so things are looking good right now. A great winter season to you all.
Ivy Liao-Avengers new winter signing
December 2016
As we approach the end of 2016 Avengers find themselves top of the Richmond Winter League at the halfway point by a narrow 2 points. Great start to the season with the team relying on the younger elements in the squad as Veterans Dipak Topiwala and Dave Gatiss both forced out through injury. Team number 1 player Peter Yau has taken on a leading role and keeping the team top of the table with great performances once again. BC's outstanding junior Edison Huang is currently unbeaten in the matches he has played so far. Great also to see number 1 active BC junior Frank Liao joining the squad as he has already played one match for the team winning all 3 that night. We hope to see Frank play a few more throughout the rest of the season.
Happy 2017 to all

Avengers take 2014 RTTL Winter League title completing league grand slam
Needing 7 points to clinch the title an 8-2 win against ultimately 4th place Bonsor 1 was enough to take the RTTL Div 1 title, trophy and prize money
This is only the 2nd time the Avengers have won a winter championship and 1st time ever to hold winter and summer titles at the same time (League Grand Slam:)
Also it was done with only 5 players this year. Dave Gatiss, Dipak Topiwala, Peter Yau Gordon Ng (all pictured) and Jason Cheung. Peter Yau also took the Div 1 MVP award so congratulations to him. Avengers take 2013 Richmond TT Summer League Division 1 title
Avengers took the Richmond Table Tennis Summer League Division 1 title at their first attempt. Needing a win against title contenders CITTI 1 they did just enough to take a 5:4 victory securing the title. Congratulations to all the team members on a great job this summer. This summer Avengers played with the following players:
David Gatiss, Dipak Topiwala, Peter Yau, Shirley Fu, Jason Cheung, Carmen Lee, Mehran Shariati, Andy Yao.
Avengers 2 also had their best league finish ever finishing 2nd in Div 3. Jacob Chan, Alton Lee, Jason Lin and Jason Ku all contributed to the best season the team has ever had and all bodes well for the future of the 2nd team. Avengers 3 also came in 3rd in Div 3 proving to be a really good team for combining new to league players with experienced ones resulting in a Bronze medal.
Can't wait for the Richmond Winter League to begin to see if the team can keep up the good work. The team will be having their seasonal end of season training on Friday Sept 13th...all are welcome to come and visit the team and talk about future seasons.
